Not through any official channel. Salt & Stone sells through its own site and a short list of retail partners abroad. There's no Indian distributor and no Indian retail listing.
The brand has grown fast and took on private equity backing in 2026, which usually signals international expansion ahead. India isn't part of that yet.

The routes are the same as for any brand without India distribution: package forwarding, resellers, import marketplaces, or a duty-inclusive importer.
One thing specific to this brand: deodorants and body washes are heavy relative to their value, so freight takes up a bigger slice of landed cost than it would for a serum. Ordering two or three items together instead of one at a time makes a real difference to your per-unit cost, whatever route you choose.
Salt & Stone deodorants run around USD 20 at US retail, with body washes and mists priced higher. Add freight, then roughly 10 percent Basic Customs Duty on the combined figure, then IGST on top of that. That's your reference number before buying from anyone.
Two products drive nearly all the demand.
The aluminium-free deodorants, especially Santal & Vetiver and Black Rose & Oud, sit in a genuinely thin part of the Indian market. Aluminium-free deodorant that actually works through an Indian summer is a real, largely unmet need, and most local natural options underdeliver on exactly that test.
The body and hair mists occupy a category that barely exists here: something between a body spray and a fragrance, built with skincare ingredients rather than alcohol and perfume oil alone.
The sunscreens are good but face more competition, since credible mineral SPF options are now made locally.
Aluminium-free deodorant is not antiperspirant. It manages odour, not sweat. If you're used to a conventional antiperspirant, the first two weeks feel like a downgrade, and most people who switch and stick with it say that's about how long the adjustment takes.
If you want something that stops you sweating in Chennai in May, this isn't it, and importing won't change that.
Not through any official channel.
No. It's aluminium-free and manages odour rather than sweat.
Santal & Vetiver is the signature and the most widely liked. Black Rose & Oud is heavier and more polarising.
Less than antiperspirants generally do, but apply sparingly and let it dry.
Not through a duty-inclusive importer.
